Foundation/Philanthropy
Our Mission
Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation provides transformational philanthropy: funding innovative leadership training for women, awarding scholarships, and investing in life-enhancing children’s therapy programs. As a non-profit organization, we are the conduit to help donors create a legacy.
The Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation was established in 1992, a merger between the Robbie Page Memorial Fund and the Sigma Sigma Sigma Educational Foundation of Tri Sigma. The RPM Fund made specific grants to hospitals for play therapy, a long-standing philanthropic outreach of Tri Sigma. The Educational Foundation awarded scholarships to members. Merging these two charitable parts of Tri Sigma into a tax exempt organization allowed members to give tax deductible gifts to fund play therapy programs throughout the country, award scholarships to deserving members, and, in addition, support leadership training and education programs of the national Tri Sigma Organization.
Our Local Chapter
Our local focus supports the Immanuel St. Joseph in Mankato, MN and the Gillette Children's Hospital in the Twin Cities. Some of the past events to support hospitalized children include making puppets at our winter chapter retreat, making Pillows at our formal recruitment, and having fundraisers. We have a Taco Feed each Spring and donate the proceeds to the Robbie Page Memorial. We also participate in activities such as Sigma Scouts, which is joining the local Girl Scouts and doing different activities together, and Adopt-a-Highway.
